Just 15 minutes by boat from Raiatea airport and 45 minutes by plane from Tahiti, welcome to the island of Tahaa, also called the Vanilla Island! Still authentic and unspoilt, this island offers a unique Polynesian experience, filled with tranquillity. An isolated island, where time seems to have stood still, discover the charms and rhythm of local life.
The Villa is ideally situated along a white sand beach, right in front of the natural coral reef of West Island.
It offers breathtaking snorkelling on an entirely private 6-hectare (12-acre) property.
At the heart of this private and secluded property, this elegant accommodation will offer you both marine wonders and a lush, verdant tropical landscape. The maintained grounds offer tranquillity and seclusion; yours alone.
This house comprises 3 modules connected by a terrace overlooking the water. The terrace area is a lounge and outdoor dining area, naturally ventilated by the sea breeze; it will quickly become your favourite spot to relax, gather with family or friends for dinner or drinks, whilst admiring the beauty of the lagoon.
The 2 bedrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with queen-size beds. The master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom includes 2 additional single beds and a second bathroom is available for guests.
The modern and very well-equipped American kitchen and bar will be at your disposal for preparing your meals. The comfortable, spacious and bright lounge offers a TV corner to discover French and Polynesian programmes. Wi-Fi, of course, is standard.
As beautiful and comfortable as the house is, the property is the true star (after the water). The immense private beach invites you to swim, relax, kayak (at your disposal) and sunbathe. You can walk, stroll or jog along the half-mile herbaceous path, park-like in character, carefully maintained, across the 12 acres (6 hectares) of wonderful verdant grounds, entirely exclusive and completely private, protected by two locked gates. A deep-water dock at the end of the property offers an enclosed natural pool which is perfect for diving (children love it!). Large open grassy areas offer countless hours of land-based games when everyone needs to dry off for a while.
Bring your masks and snorkels to explore marine life; a superb deep-water underwater exploration awaits you, extending 500 metres (1,800 feet) from one dock to the other. All yours and yours alone. After a snorkelling session, enjoy a sunset cocktail on the beach, with views of Bora Bora and Raiatea.
The Raiatea shuttle makes a daily round trip to Raiatea, just a 10-minute walk away via Poutoru village.

As you walk along the island's trails, travellers will discover preserved vegetation, a natural environment where the air perfumed with vanilla mingles with the breeze. Visit the House of Vanilla, the Rum Distillery, spend a day at the Motu, visit a pearl farm... Tahaa shares the same lagoon as its sister island Raiatea, take the opportunity to visit both islands. A private water taxi crossing to Raiatea can be arranged on request, as can the rental of a vehicle for a carefree holiday.
For experienced surfers, the only surf spot in TAHAA, the PLEI PLEI spot, is located in front of the villa and is quickly accessible by boat.
